Alarm Beacon sensors
Alarm Beacon sensors are accessories attached to nVent Enlogic iPDUs, which are designed to create a visible alarm notification for an alert condition (or other userdefined situation) in an effort to notify IT personnel quickly and efficiently. They provide information via Web UI, SNMP, CLI/SSH interfaces.

- These devices produce visual alerts that direct users’ attention to a designated area
- The beacon is attached to an iPDU's sensor port 1 or port 2, and it flashes a red LED for 0.5 secs ON/0.5 secs OFF rhythmically until the issue is fixed or warnings are resolved
- A standard RJ-45 connector may be used to extend the Alarm Beacon up to a distance of 30.5 meters
